A postpartum doula specializes in that crucial transition from pregnant person to new parent. The Doula focuses on caring for the new family on a more intimate level during this vulnerable and transformative life experience.
Postpartum Doula's will educate on breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding support and aim to make your family comfortable and confident in your new roles. PD's assist with newborn care, light household task, community referrals, assist in rest for mom and much more.
I believe in my heart that every women who desires a Doula should have the opportunity to have one. I do accept payment plans, gift certificates, and HSA/FSA.

About your new postpartum doula.
I can remember years ago, giving birth to my oldest daughter. After delivering this small little human, I was faced with coming home to live our lives, not knowing much and learning as I went along. At that time Postpartum Doula's were not available as they are today. This is my way of giving back to women who may have felt anxiety of being a new mother, and challenges we face during postpartum. I commit to offer respect, fairness and non-judgmental care to mothers, fathers and families. I will uphold privacy for families, support postpartum decisions decided for a safe fourth trimester.
